With a staff having a combined 50 years of experience within the utility and energy industry, this division currently has 10 staff members that have worked within the Gas and Hydro Utilities, Measurement Canada, Energy Commodities and Energy Services industries.
CDM Energy Services will be focused on assisting the Utility Market achieve the targets as put forward by the OEB and Government of Ontario. CDM Energy Services will deliver results through industrial and commercial audits and consultation with end use clients by identification and implementation of key project opportunities, M&V services, metering and sub-metering services, identifying and assisting with DR1 & DR3 programs and services, all under a single umbrella.
Industrial & Commercial Audits
CDM Energy Services can perform full audits to identify conservation opportunities, quantify the impact, outline maximum incentives and assist in all aspects of project implementation for both industrial and commercial opportunities. Staff has specific experience with large automotive and manufacturing firms and all size commercial clients from institutional to multi-residential or office space.
Demand Response
From Certificates of Approval, to back up generator sets, production load analysis to water and waste water facilities, CDM Energy Services can identify the opportunity and assist with the implementation of all Demand Response programs.
Measurement and Verification (M&V)
Staff is qualified to implement this program requirement and capture before and after results in order for projects to meet the necessary standards to pass any audit task. From main meter impacts to sub-metering requirements, CDM Energy Services has over $100,000 in meter equipment at our disposal and qualified electricians to install and produce the resulting reports needed for M&V.
Turnkey Project Implementation
CDM Energy Services has another unique capability - complete Design Build capabilities. From audit, to design, to bid spec, implementation services, capturing incentives and full M&V, CDM Energy Services can not only service the utilities but also the clients they must go to in order to provide the needed load reduction.
